Some simple precautions before and while applying makeup can ensure it doesn't start running in these hot summer months.
1. Wash your face properly before you apply any kind of makeup, because your skin tends to produce more oil in the summer, which can cause your makeup to run.
2. Before you start to apply makeup, gently rub ice on your face.
3. If you can, avoid applying a foundation, and just use concealer wherever you need it. If you cannot skip foundation, make sure it's a sheer or light foundation. Also, avoid any oil-based product.
4. Make sure all your makeup is waterproof, and it's even better if it's water-resistant.
5. Keep a makeup sponge and blotting paper with yourself at all times, so that you can use them for emergencies.
