Try some home made face scrubs for a healthy glow

Homemade beauty solutions help you pamper you skin with gentleness and love. They save you the hassle of visiting a beauty station also. Here's how you can come up with you own scrubs.

Besan and honey scrubs

Honey is key to many face scrubs. Besan is also known to be a good nourishing and cleansing agent. Teaming the two will give your skin the required sheen and glow.

Avocado and honey combo

Both avocado and honey are said to enhance the appeal of the skin. So mixing the two ingredients in honey as a base will yield good results for the skin.

Oatmeal scrub

Combining oatmeal with honey and applying on the face also gives rise to impressive skin solutions.

Papaya magic

Papaya in honey is also a very popular and sought after face scrub solution. Papaya crushed and mixed with honey and applied to the skin gives rise to a lovely glow on the skin after you rinse the scrub off.

This is another option to try out. Crushed papaya, crushed orange throughly mixed in honey applied to the face gives rise to effective and desired results.

Egg White Face Mask Recipe for Beautiful Skin !

Want to have healthy glowing skin without paying for expensive face products? Just go to your fridge and pull out an egg. By using this facial on oily skin, you'll noticed an immediate reduction in oils. The egg white draws the oils out, while the egg yolk moisturizes. You will want to do both parts of this one if you have oily skin. This also works very well for firming the skin

It is great also as for tightening and toning skin. It works wonders for greasy skin as it helps shrink large pores on the skin surface thereby reducing excess sebum. Large pores are potential breeding grounds for bacteria that cause bulbous zits and cysts. Egg white also contains an ingredient known as lysozyme, an enzyme which is potent in eradicating acne-causing bacteria by digesting their cell walls.

All you need is egg white of one egg and a few drops of fresh lemon juice and this egg mask is ready.

Egg is full of proteins and makes the skin supple and bright.

Steps

  • Take the egg white in a clean bowl.
  • Add lemon juice and lightly whisk.
  • Lemon juice help reduce the smell of egg.
  • Make sure your face is properly cleansed. Rinse your face with warm water to open up the pores.
  • Using a face brush gently apply the egg on your face.
  • Let it sit for 15-20 minutes until it's dry and hard.
  • Wash it off with warm water.

Warning: Eggs may carry salmonella bacteria. Be careful not to get raw egg in your mouth, eyes, or nose, and wash up well afterwards, including hands, face, sink/handles, and surfaces.

Make your own face-masks

Face skin is the most delicate one. It is essential to take care of it on a daily basis. And so, when you are not keen on spending a lot at spa for facials, try some quick home methods to let your skin glow:

1. Quick mask to brighten your skin:

Take a slice of ripe papaya, remove seeds and pulp. Rub the inside of papaya peel on your face, neck and hands. Let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes, then wash it off. Try this mask twice a week.

2. For daily cleansing and toning:

Brew a cup of green tea and cool it. Then soak two clean, round cotton balls in the tea and squeeze out any excess liquid. Place one on each of your eyes for 15 minutes. Also, apply this tea as toner on your face daily.

3. Mask to tightening skin:

2 tbsp plain yogurt with 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice and apply to your cleansed face and neck. Let it dry for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash it off with running water.

4. To moisturize your face:

Combine 2 tbsp honey with 1 lemon juice. Apply to your clean face and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash it off.
